Questions to start with

Use these as starting points. Replace the brackets with a customer need you recognise, then save the wording you actually ask. Keep the named-business checks separate from discovery.

Discovery questions

  • Which [service] suits [customer type] in [location]?

Test a concrete customer and market. Omit location when it is irrelevant.
  • What [product category] would suit a [team size] team that needs [constraint]?

Use a real constraint such as software compatibility or budget.
  • Who provides [specific service] for [customer type] with [special requirement]?

Useful for a niche need. Do not add your own business name.
  • Where should I look for [service] if I need [timeframe] in [market]?

A time constraint can change the answer; retain it on repeated checks.

Compare options

  • What should a [customer type] compare when choosing a [service provider]?

Record the criteria as well as any brands that appear.
  • Which [product category] options support [integration] within [budget]?

Verify compatibility and prices on current primary sources.
  • What are the trade-offs between [approach A] and [approach B] for [use case]?

Compare approaches without forcing named brands into the question.
  • What alternatives to [category or approach] work for [specific need]?

Use a category for discovery. If you name a brand, label that variant as branded.

Check a named business

  • Does [business name] offer [specific service] in [location]?

Verify against the business’s current service or location page.
  • Is [business name] compatible with [tool or requirement]?

A named check tests factual understanding, not unbranded discovery.
  • Who is [business name] suitable for, and what limitations should I check?

Keep any qualifications or uncertainty in your saved excerpt.
  • What does [business name] say about [policy or feature], and which page supports that?

Open the cited page. Check whether it actually supports the claim.
